The site for the proposed Academy occupies about 1000 Acres of land area and is strategically located between NH-22 and Sherghati Road. This Academy will be providing military training to 750 cadets every year which calls for state of the art facilities like training infrastructure, Indoor & outdoor sports stadiums, 9 hole Golf course, Libraries, Auditoriums shooting ranges etc. All major proposed buildings are designed to be energy efficient and green rated. The training academies in Army require large expanses of open land and numerous intermittent play fields for the cadets to move around and receive physical training, resulting in small ground coverage that helps us in retaining the intrinsic characters of the terrain as well as its Soil. Over all we have about 3 millions sqft of constructed space to accommodate various requirements of the Academy which shall be built at the cost of 1000 crores. Locally available building materials are being carefully chosen as the Architectural character of the proposed buildings is planned to be robust, monumental and Buddhist in appearance.
